Born from the heart of HRH Arfaq, a man who has redefined the language of
fine fragrance, this is his most intimate creation.
His journey began at the age of five, when he created his first perfume, and when he began to see the world not as it was, but as it felt.
Arfaq's obsession with perfume is absolute. He hears music in fragrances. He feels emotions through flowers. He writes formulae as effortlessly as he breathes.

THE AWAKENING
The origins of Fallen trace back long before the fragrance itself was conceived. They begin with Arfaq’s rigorous study of some of the world’s great perfumers, a personal pilgrimage into the heart of fine perfumery, undertaken to understand not just how perfume is created, but why it endures through history.
His journey began in Germany with Farina, the oldest perfume house in the world. Since 1709, Farina has been shaping the history of modern perfumery. Johann Maria Farina founded this historic perfume house in Cologne, Germany and created a new genre of fragrance with Eau de Cologne, named after the city. This scent conquered the royal courts of Europe and captivated personalities such as Napoleon, Goethe, Empress Elisabeth of Austria, Queen Victoria, and Emperor Charles VI, the King of Prussia.
Johann Maria Farina was born in Santa Maria Maggiore, Italy, where he mastered the art of distillation and developed a keen sense for high-quality essences.
In his study of Farina, Arfaq realised they are the foremost powerhouse in distillation, and no one can balance floral lightness and warmth like Farina. They instill a true heart into their perfumes.

THE REVELATION
From there, his path led to France, home of La Maison Houbigant, founded in 1775 by Jean-François Houbigant.
Fragrances from this house found favour with royalty and nobility. Houbigant taught the titled women at the Court of Versailles how to perfume their fans, so that just a fragrant flutter would send out a romantic message.
Over the centuries, the House of Houbigant became the perfumer to the royal courts of Europe. Through these centuries, the perfumers of the House of Houbigant have made ground-breaking discoveries in the formulation of perfumes that have forever revolutionised the way perfumes are constructed. Without them, it is not an exaggeration to say that modern perfumery as we know it would not exist.
Finally, his research brought him to the beautiful city of Florence, home of Santa Maria Novella.
He stepped into a world where time itself seemed to pause and history became visible in the air. Founded in 1221, this house represents continuity, patience, and the art of perfumery. Their production methods are not only preserved, they are protected, unchanged for centuries.

THE SURRENDER
For years, Arfaq immersed himself in the deepest disciplines of perfumery, turning days into nights and nights into unbroken vigils of study. He dismantled the structures of the world’s greatest fragrances, reverse-engineering their architecture to understand how notes breathe, rise, and evolve on the skin.
He never saw perfume as a creation; for him it’s a way to say I love you, a hidden message, a movement that stirs you, and a presence felt before it is understood.
The Fallen perfume stands under the guidance of three masters of perfumery: Farina, Houbigant, and Santa Maria Novella. Their philosophies form the structural pillars of this fragrance. Their influence is not copied, but deeply admired, understood, integrated, and engineered forward.
The Fallen is a masterclass in complexity, both very challenging to create and captivating to experience. He emptied his very soul into its creation. The structure of the fragrance is a study in precision and timing, crafted so that each note releases at the exact moment it is meant to be felt. It had to be created this way, to remain honest to the feeling that inspired it.

At the very heart of Fallen lies Rosier Annapyrna Dorblan, a private cultivar known only within the world of high perfumery. Bred for depth, with velvet petals and a nocturnal temperament, it carries an emotional gravity experienced to truly understand. Its fragrance holds an ache, a quiet tension between memory and longing, between presence and absence.
The Rosier Annapyrna Dorblan is not a rose that merely blooms; it is a rose that remembers. Its heart note lingers and evolves, revealing new facets as time unfolds. Rich in natural oils, it carries warmth touched by a soft shadow of melancholy, as though it were born already knowing the feeling of missing someone.
