“If they gave Grammys for genius, Arfaq would have more than me.”

MICHAEL JACKSON

Some things aren’t made: they’re summoned.

In the early 1990s, before the world knew his name, Arfaq dreamed not of fame, but of form. Not of following trends, but of mastering creation.

At just nineteen, he set his sights on the impossible, to dress the most famous man on earth. But this was never about celebrity.

This was about connection. About devotion. About the pursuit of beauty without compromise.

VISION OF A GENIUS CHILD

Between 1992 and 1994, Arfaq designed a body of work for Michael Jackson that defied fashion and stepped into the realm of legend.

Each piece fused innovation with reverence, engineering with elegance, to produce an alchemy of rare stones, hand-forged metals, silk, suede and sweat.

No sketches were submitted. No brief was given. Instead, Arfaq listened. Felt. Responded.

FASHION OR ART COLLECTION

This section is a window into that time, when a young artist met a global icon and together they created something that still echoes through time.

Each garment carries the fingerprint of obsession and though some of these pieces were never worn, they were never forgotten.

They weren’t designed to be part of fashion.

They were designed to be part of history.

FOR DREAMING IN

An emblem of refinement and vision, this silk shirt redefines ceremonial elegance. Crafted from the finest grade pure silk, the piece is detailed with sculptural epaulettes, collar plaques, cuff vents and a signature armband all trimmed in braided gold rope for a tailored richness.

The shirt features fifteen hand-finished front buttons in a deep matte black, with seven subtly transformed through a proprietary process to achieve a soft Egyptian gold glow, an intentional contrast, both tactile and symbolic.

Precision-stitched and meticulously assembled, the shirt achieves structure without weight. At its heart is a bespoke, ultra-lightweight crest, commissioned to sit effortlessly on the silk without disturbing the fluidity of the fabric.

Inscribed with the words 'Heal the World', this crest carries not just embellishment, but intent, a dream sewn directly into its seams.

This is more than a garment; a shirt for dreaming in, indeed.

PUREST

A study in restraint and refinement, the Purest trouser is elevated through exquisite detailing crafted exclusively for the label.

At its centrepiece sits a hallmarked 18ct solid gold face crest, handset with blue sapphire and Earl Grey stones. Designed and brought to life by three master craftsmen over seven meticulous weeks, the crest reflects a commitment to precision, both in proportion and artistry.

Its weight is finely calibrated to preserve the drape and line of the trouser, secured discreetly through a solid gold pin shielded beneath a silk flap, proving that even the invisible details matter.

Complementing this focal adornment are three signature buttons: concave, diamond-shaped 18ct gold settings, each inset with blue sapphires and accented by four crystals at the apex of each design to catch the light and spark with brilliance.

Positioned on the back pocket and at each front hip, these bespoke elements reinforce Arfaq's philosophy: clothing, in its highest form, borders on sculpture.

PASSIONSINGLE_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

PASSION

Tailored in a luminous satin wool dyed in rich cerulean blue, this jacket represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship and creative discipline.

Every seam is constructed using an intricate stitch technique, refined from 19th-century cape tailoring traditions, with 30 hand-executed stitches per inch in waxed blue silk thread.

The result is a structure that allows elegant movement while maintaining precise, architectural form.

With 34 individually sewn darts sculpting the silhouette, the jacket is supported by a lining of stone-washed silk in a subtly contrasting tone two shades lighter than the outer shell, and interlined with wool mohair for added softness and comfort.

Gold braid trims add regal precision, but it is the sensory experience that defines this creation: over four days, the piece was encased in a crystal cabinet for two and a half hours each day, absorbing a bespoke fragrance composed of rare Egyptian essences and oils.

When worn, the garment releases a delicate and mystical scent, activated by body heat and designed to stir memory as much as admiration.

The piece took six and a half weeks to realise, involving nine specialist artisans and seven separate body casts to perfect its tailored fit. The result; a garment which can be worn to experience its passion, richness and complexity.

ANCIENT BLACK

The Fashion for Art ‘Ancient Black’ is a shirt like no other.

The body of this panelled shirt is handmade from alloy fabric, which is derived from lightweight alloy. It has a zip fastening decorated with non-reflecting black epaulettes which are trimmed in gold and green piping.

Finally, the shirt is hallmarked with a bespoke crest.

BELIEVE

Each creation by HRH Arfaq is an expression of pure individuality, a study in strength, character and precision. Every garment carries its own identity, its own quiet confidence.

The jacket Believe exemplifies this philosophy: a masterful balance of classical tailoring and modern innovation, handcrafted with uncompromising attention to detail. Its cornflower-blue velvet surface is illuminated with crystal glass and pearls, forming a subtle interplay of light that evokes the glow of amethyst.

More than an item of clothing, 'Believe' is a statement of artistry, a piece that commands presence, defines elegance and embodies the spirit of creation itself.

 AAISH

A classically flamboyant design with vented waistline and arms, made from soft leather in brilliant Monaco White.

Quarter panelled back and front, to ensure a perfect fit. The material was so soft that the creating team was directed to assemble an invisible frame within the jacket to ensure no 'cave-in'.

High-raised stitching emphasises the sharp military lines, piped and edged in black. This design is a contrast of colours and curves.

FLYWITHME_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

FLY WITH ME

A jacket that is no less than a visual spectacle, this military dress jacket is encrusted in ebony crystal beads.

The fittings that feature on the jacket and the accompanying trouser are of an extremely lightweight alloy fixed to the belt via minute screws. The decorated plates are gunmetal in colour, and the contrast this offers the jacket is nothing short of striking.

The trouser itself is made of a breathable material which was chosen for its excellent qualities of comfort, weight and, of course, visual appeal. The trouser features a three-piece knee pad which is interlinked, allowing all three pieces to move independently. The smooth lines created by the vented cuffs help to enhance the true structure of the jacket.

The handmade chain-link epaulettes emphasise the strong military influence behind this design. Coupled with the rare royal dragon pipes, the regal picture is complete.

BlackRain_Op.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

BLACK RAIN

Black Rain, named after the dazzling effect it creates, is an ultra-light-weight jacket, finely decorated with four specially commissioned military crests, all handmade and bespoke to Michael Jackson.

Each crest is built up from a bare mesh which has the design etched upon it. This in turn is graced with velvet gold wire and fine threads. The collection of finished crests is simply exquisite.

The jacket is finally complemented with 9ct gold button fastenings.

DARKNESS_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

DARKNESS

A handcrafted jacket constructed using our unique cape stitch, which ensures that each individual panel benefits from unrestricted movement for extreme comfort.

The entire jacket is covered in crystal mesh jewellery stones, connected using minute rings to create a flexible crystal material. The mesh takes costume design to a higher dimension.

The final garment needs to be ultralight, so  titanium has been incorporated into the body harness encapsulating the jacket.

The armband is also formed of titanium. Six invisible vent sleeves are cut into the pattern of the garment before it is put together. On construction of the jacket they serve as air-cooling vents, yet again in the interests of comfort. The jacket is completed by a cape which shimmers and sparkles under stage light caused by the decorated illuminated stars.

The cape features concealed pockets which release glowing dust around the body induced by movement. The cape itself is easily removed via a one-touch release system located on the front of the jacket.

ISII_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

ISII

The velvet and crystal jacket is dedicated to Arfaq’s brother Ish.

It was personally presented to Michael Jackson by Ish on the 6th September 2001 whilst Michael was performing at Madison Square Gardens, New York, to celebrate his 30 years in music.

T1st

A non-reflecting black satin wool is used to tailor this jacket. Hand-sewn darts ensure that the line and fall of the material is nothing short of perfect.

The inner lining is mohair which has been imbued with a uniquely designed perfume exclusively created for the jacket. When warmed by heat this releases an exquisitely subtle and mystical fragrance.

The jacket is finally lined in heat-absorbent aluminium foil. Seven titanium plates decorate the front. These plates are easily removed via the push release clamps.

APRILRAIN2_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

APRIL RAIN

A very fine lightweight suede was chosen for these handmade, hand-stitched shoes.

The nap of the suede had to be precise, only then was it dyed to the glorious royal blue seen on the final shoe. The interior of each shoe is fully lined in contrasting cream hide which is in turn fitted with a 18ct gold personalised plate.

The soles are of fine leather. Within the construction of each shoe there are four rhodium alloy plates designed to give maximum support and comfort. Unique military crowns grace the raised front guards on the shoes, which adjust to each individual foot for a perfect fit.

The final shoe embodies pure excellence in design. The world's first pair of adjustable shoes.

HEALINGHANDS3_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

HEALING HANDS

Black Diamond stones were imported from Austria, from the legendary Swarovski Crystal House for the sole purpose of covering the ’Healing Hands’ glove.

No fewer than 18,443 of the aforementioned stones adorn the final glove; each one positioned by hand to create the spectacular effect of black glass. The specially formulated adhesive allows total control and movement.

Five 9ct Egyptian gold buckles fasten the glove in place, each specially developed buckle is extremely light,  preventing distortion of the finished glove. The glove is an experience to behold as well as to wear.

GLASSSLIPPER_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

GLASS SLIPPER

A study in understated elegance, this design captures the harmony between simplicity and sophistication. Crafted from the finest black suede, its form is refined yet effortless; a classically modern silhouette that speaks in quiet confidence.

The slipper’s low-cut profile is supported by a discreet internal structure, ensuring a perfect, sculpted fit. Inside, a lining of cream Connolly hide offers unparalleled softness, while the red silk insole, adorned with the letter ‘J’ beneath a delicate crown, adds a personal signature of refinement.

Tailored for ultimate comfort and visual grace, the piece embodies the purity of design where every line, curve, and contour serves both purpose and beauty.

ALONEII_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

ALONE II

Alone II is the final design released in 1996. This military jacket is made from duchess satin silk in glorious royal blue.

The beauty of this shirt is its simplicity. The stitching perfect, precise and very detailed is a design which demands closer inspection.

Straight-edge, fluted thistle buttons in sterling silver adorn the garment are mounted on a blue background, resulting in a striking effect. The jacket incorporates black Russian collar plaques, delicately presented in silver trim to highlight special parts on the design.

The final touch is the Jonquil star epaulettes.

KNIGHTII_RV_OP.jpg
HRHDarkonLighjt.png

KNIGHT II

Tailored from the finest pearl-white silk, 'Knight II' redefines modern elegance through purity, precision, and quiet strength. Its silhouette commands presence sculpted to express both confidence and control, while maintaining an effortless sense of grace.

Every element of its construction was guided by one objective: lightness. The cut and composition minimise weight, allowing the fabric to move with fluid precision, creating a natural fall that feels almost weightless against the body. Refined details such as tailored cuffs elevate the craftsmanship to the level of art, a statement of engineering as much as aesthetics.

The finishing touch lies in its exclusive insignia; military-inspired emblems adorning the jacket and trouser, handcrafted from black gold and set with diamonds that trace the constellation of Michael Jackson’s birth. More than an ensemble, “Knight II” is a declaration of identity, armour for the modern knight, radiant in spirit, unyielding in design.
