THUNDER

The creation of Thunder is unprecedented in that it is the world’s first jacket to be entirely crafted from Swarovski crystal mesh. Consisting of 136,000 stones, this ground-breaking garment is totally handmade and was featured on the front cover of Life magazine.

Initially produced as a single sheet, the largest ever, the panels were then cut and pieced together as a conventional fabric would be. Amazingly, the 12 panels that make up the jacket feature totally invisible seams.

Topaz black crepe silk was chosen for the luxury lining and the finished item enhanced with titanium plates on the breast and along one sleeve of the jacket.

At the personal request of Michael Jackson black titanium epaulettes were added.
